Jennifer Wager holds an M.A. in Africana Studies from Ohio State University and an M.A. in Communication, Culture and Technology from Georgetown University. She is a Newark-based humanities professor and film director of Dare to Dream: Cuba’s Latin American Medical School, an award winning documentary about the Cuban medical scholarship program. She produces for New York City radio’s 99.5 FM Cuba in Focus, as well as the TV series, Newark City of Poets and served as director of photography and editor of Newark Forward: State of the City 2017 documentary.
